Hello,
I am a cognitive psychologist with a strong interest for neurophysiology, and an inclination for methodological issues.
My broad scientific goal is to understand the cognitive and neural dynamics of language production processes, with the long-term ambition of an integration between their computational, algorithmic, and implementation descriptions.
My career started in psycholinguistics, addressing issues in lexical selection, grammatical agreement, and form encoding. In recent years, I have investigated the neurophysiological correlates, and perhaps mechanisms, of various processes required for language production, such as selection and serial ordering.
The research methods I use include the analysis of behavioral performance, mental chronometry, surface and intra-cerebral EEG, and psychometric modeling.
