Lilly ROTH is joining the DéPhy team!

Lilly is starting her postdoctoral research with Dr. Hippolyte GROS within the ANR-funded project 'Origins, Development, and Specificity of Ordinal Time Representations' (OrDOTime). She will be studying the origins of the focus on ordinality in time representations, mainly in non-human primates with an evolutionary perspective. Specifically, she will investigate cognitive mechanisms such as mental representations of ordinality and spontaneous focusing on ordinality in Guinea baboons.

Lilly completed her PhD in psychology at the University of Tübingen in Germany. Her previous work in the domain of numerical cognition focused on spatial-numerical associations. In particular, she investigated characteristics of the SNARC effect (i.e., association between small numbers and the left side, and between large numbers and the right side) in large-scale online experiments.
